Surprisingly, I am actually very interested in outer appearance. I keep up with trendy fashion, make-up and accessory.

But I never have heard people say I look pretty.

All I get is you look tired. I have had enough of this…

Getting dolled up is not enough, so I finally am getting plastic surgery!!

First, I want to make my eyes pop up distinctly. My nose is relatively high but is not a pretty shape. So I want to make my nose line more pretty and feminine.

Also, nobody knows, but I had a hair style I wanted to try for the longest time. That is hair pulled back. But my forehead isn’t the prettiest forehead so I covered it all the time. So I decided to undergo forehead surgery as well.

I had butterflies since the night before the surgery.
Now that I am close to getting the surgery, because I do not like my face now, I just want to get it over with as soon as possible.
With the excitement of kids the night before the picnic, I went to the clinic an hour early for consultation.
As soon as the doctor saw me, I was so surprised that he picked out all the areas that I was unhappy with.




Eyes, Nose, and Forehead! All you need to get is this 3 area.
Now that I heard, right from the doctor, I just want to get the surgery and get it over with!
Wait for me! New life and new face!!!

As days go by, my confidence is growing bigger and bigger!

3 days after the surgery: Everything that can swell is swollen!


3 days after the surgery, on the first day after the surgery I thought my swelling was not that bad, so I thought maybe I am not going to swell that much. But wait a minute.. after a night of sleep, it started to swell and after 2 days, every part that can swell is swollen to its fullest. Even to my ears where I had my piercing!

But I cannot check whether the surgery went well or not. All I can do is ice pack diligently.

Maybe it is because of the swelling, but my face is getting red. I hear this is just a temporary condition. So I will wait for the time to heal. Patience is a virtue!

 7 days after the surgery: All the swelling are gone but still have bruises left


I think all the swelling is almost gone by now.

But, on the part where there were bruises, I only have yellow bruise left. Now I can check where the eyelid is going to be. I feel good!
 

Originally, I wanted to do magic epicanthoplasty, but because I was getting nose surgery, the doctor didn’t recommend me getting magic epicanthoplasty. Now that I look at my face, I think it was a good decision that I didn’t get epicanthoplasty. I quickly want to get rid of splint on my nose and confidently roam around the city. My roommate is getting envious of my surgery result and I feel a little flattered~lol.

2 weeks after the surgery: Can you see my defined and clear face?


All the bruise and swelling are gone, and today is the day to get stitches removed.

I am really happy about the double eyelid line. This is the perfect outline and I am happy. But because all the swelling is gone in 2 weeks, I am afraid my double eyelid might completely go away. However, I am super satisfied right now! I will take another selfie after the stitch out!

 1 month after the surgery: I am confident about pulling my hair up!

I guess I still have little bit of swelling left, so my forehead looks more protruding and wide than the actual outcome. So my friend keep teasing that all they see when they see me coming in is my forehead.. hehe. But even such joke is nice to hear? I am so happy about my nose because it looks natural. Friends keep asking where I had my surgery done and how cheap they can get it done.. so I am assuming they are all envious of my outcome.

 Now that I have confidence in my face, I am excited to go out and meet people!


 Because I live with my roommate, I have not yet told my parents about my surgery yet. The other day, when my mom saw my face, she was so surprised! Is it my daughter? Because my mom hasn’t seen the process where I was all swollen and just saw the final product, she is so happy and ecstatic about my surgery outcome. As much as her, I am satisfied about my face, so I feel happy.





Naturally voluminous forehead, beautiful curve from the forehead to the nose bridge to the nose tip and finally my eyes that make my face pop among the million…

There is literally no body parts that I am not happy about. Yet I feel like I want to do something more. Recently fat injection is hot. I feel my cheek fat is slimmer and slimmer, and I want plump cheek fat like the Korean celebrity.

 Friends keep telling me I got prettier so it’s fun to go out and meet people.

[Ask Dr. Rhee- Q&A of the day] Liposuction

 

 

Q: For Arm Liposuction, where is the incision is made and how big is the scar is gonna be? Is it hard to use or move arms around few days after the surgery? How long does it take for my arms to recover from the su

rgery?





A: For arm liposuction, immediate return to daily routine is possible and there is no particular restriction regarding arm movement. The time period to visibly notice the difference  varies depending on the amount that had been sucked. But in most cases you are able to see the result 2 weeks after the surgery.

 The surgery is performed through a small hole around your elbow and the stitch is removed one week after the surgery. Scar after the surgery is hardly visible after the surgery, so there is no need for worrying about the scar.


For accurate consultation, we need to know the distribution of body fat, imbalances in bodyline, fat distribution and physiognomy, weight and level of activity, work experience, chrononic disease and as well as medical history. After taking the above into consideration, we can calculate amount to be sucked, and what type of procedure should be done.

Hair Line Transplantation? Do you have Balding spot? Hey guys, my concern is not a balding spot!

Because I originally have wide forehead, I have never put my hair back.
I decided that I want to do hair transplantation. When I say I will be doing hairline surgery, 100% of dialogue goes on like this.
Me: “I will be getting hair line transplantation surgery.”
Friend: “Do you have balding spot? How bad is it? Let me see.”
Me: “I don’t have balding spot! It is just a hair line transplantation.”
Friend: “Why would you get that kind of surgery when you can just get a bang?”
 
For most people, this kind of is not much big of a deal.
 
But for me, if the wind blows, I am worried that my forehead might be exposed. If it’s hot out, I worried that my bangs get wet. If I go swimming, I don’t know what to do with my bangs. It seems like not much of a big deal. But people that have complex regarding wide forehead, it is a big issue.
 
Many don’t understand my deep concerns or worries.
 

Expectation, I am going to meet new hairline!

As usual, I came into the clinic with bangs covering my forehead. Today, my friend followed me to make sure I will be okay. After coming into the clinic and while preparing for the surgery, the PD interviewed me.
 
 
“How did you decide to get this surgery?” “How do you feel?”
I am not so used to being interviewed and kept saying I am sorry. Then the PD kept saying that is okay. Everybody is a little shy. Hopefully, if I can get a chance next time, I can do a better job of being interviewed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Expecting brand new hairline! It is now happening!

1 day after the surgery: Simple shampoo really impresses me!

I heard some people sleep really well right after the surgery. But I was so concerned about transplanting and transplanted area that, even though I had no pain, I kept waking up due to sleeping position. Even after waking up, I feel more tired than being well-rested-_-;;
Today, I wore hood jacket not only because it is cold, but also because I want hide the hair that I wasn’t able to wash. I went straight to the hospital, then got my hair sanitized and shampood. The nurse hair washing skill is as good as gangnam beauty salon hair specialists. I was cracking some joke asking her how to shampoo to feel this good. Can shampooing feel this good?
 
 
 

10 days after the surgery: Going back to the hospital for stitch out

 
 
Today I got back to the hospital for stitch out. The doctor had a look at my result, and said I am all healed well. So, I should be able to take out my stitches. The redness on the transplanted area is almost gone but the feeling on my scalp will take a while for it to come back. Also, by next week, the transplanted hair fair will fall off. My forehead hair will be gone, but the new hair will grow back. I cannot wait for that day^^.

3 Weeks after the surgery: Transplanted hair started falling off^^



Little by little transplanted hair’s scab started falling off. The disadvantage is that as the scab is falling off, my forehead looks a bit messy. But because this is the first step after the surgery, all this process is really interesting to me.
 
As I heard last time, when I wash my hair, the transplanted hair is falling off little by little. Now new hair is not growing just not yet, but I know this is just a sign of healing, just like scabs^^
 
 
 
 

3 months after the surgery: New soft hair is coming out~

3 months since the hair transplantation surgery, all the transplanted hair all fell off and by last week. Now along my forehead line, smooth new hairs are growing.^^
 
I was a little concerned up to 1 month after the surgery because I couldn’t feel my scalp fully. But when I talked to doctor about this, he said it will go away after a while. 2 weeks after going to the clinic, my sense on the scalp seem to have come back.
 
Many people after the hair transplantation are concerned about transplanted follicle falling off all together. Luckily for me, I already knew preventive methods so I had no fall out.

4 months after the surgery: Hey guys, are you sure my hair looks natural?

My bangs grew out much more than I expected. Now that my bangs are grown out, my forehead definitely looks smaller, and makes my whole face much smaller.
 
Last week, I even went to sauna with my friend. They completely messed up my hair with the excuse to see how natural my hair transplantation looks. Before the surgery, I was very easily irritated just by them lifting my forehead. But now, I can ask “Are you sure my forehead looks natural?” with confidence.
 
All my friends say I look natural. One of my friend is an experienced hair-dresser, and even she says she wouldn’t have noticed my hair transplantation.

I went to the East coast for my best friend’s wedding. On the way back, my friend suggested stopping by the ocean, so we did.
 
Before the surgery, I didn’t like coming to the ocean, because my hair went crazy because of the wind. I would not get out of the car and watch my friends have fun. But this time, I was forced to get out of the car-_-;
 
 While I was taking a selfie by the side, I realized that now my forehead looks natural, so I do not have to worry about covering my forehead. Yoohoo.
After uploading my pictures on facebook, my friends kept pressing like button and commented that they are envious of me. As a woman, I think it is always good to here that I look pretty. My face looks small and I feel pretty so whenever I look at the picture, I feel good~!^^
Now that biggest complex of my life is gone, my life feels so different and new.

I want to be beautiful again.

When I was younger, I used to hear that I am pretty very often. Wherever I go I used to hear my skin looks elastic and I look young.

Then, WHY do I feel old all of a sudden?

The wrinkles got deeper, and I feel as though my skin on my face is getting droopier. Then all the attention towards me has been less and less.

I have spend large sum of money to buy cosmetics that are said to be good for wrinkles, but those weren’t very effective. And even if I get massage, it only lasts temporarily.

While I had no interest in plastic surgery what so ever, I suddenly visited a famous plastic surgery clinic and have gone around to ask for my friends’ opinion. Then I chose Life Plastic surgery.

I also told about getting surgery to my daughter, and she gave me a lot of moral support.

Now that I have my family’s support, I want to be beautiful again!

 

Doctor, please bring back my youthful look.

Because I am so old, I feel embarrassed to be sitting here at the waiting room.

But the nurse came sat beside me to explain to me what the process is going to be like thoroughly.

Dr. SeHwan Rhee especially, really carefully examined my face and explained to me kindly, so I really want to thank him.

From my skin condition to texture, he really examined one by one carefully. He said, “I should do this and that.” I am very shy so I was worried that I might not be able to ask every question I want. But he created such comfortable atmosphere so I felt like I had a great chat afterwards.

First my saggy skin is going to be lifted, sunken area here and there around my face will be filled with fat grafted little by little naturally. Also, my deep nasolabial fold will be corrected thorough aristocrat surgery.

Also, the doctor said, wrinkles around eye and glabella will be fixed with botox..

I don’t have much knowledge about plastic surgery. Therefore, I am a bit concerned if I would be able to go through all this procedures at once. But I believe and hope that my face will be a lot better than now.

 
Restart of my youth! I believe I can be more beautiful than my 20~30s!

3 days after the surgery: I feel very unused to this kind of appearance now, but I feel good.

I look like an alien because of swelling.

But now I that I look at my swollen face, I realize, more and more that I really did get the surgery. I believe this is all a part of the process and is very natural.

Because of the swelling, I can hardly open my eyes. I got some lifting surgery, and wrapped up my whole face, so all my family member get a good laugh out of me whenever they visit.

I remember doctor telling me one week after the surgery is the hardest time. I will be doing my best to bear this situation and patient wait for my face to heal.

7 days after the surgery: How is it possible that I feel much younger already!

One good thing about being old is that you are not as embarrassed.

Because of the compression bandage, everyone tell me to stay at home. But I feel a bit stuffy just being at home, so I go out and about here and there to meet my friends. As long as I have my hat, I am not shamed. I go out and about proudly.

The swelling has gone down dramatically. There is continuing pain by the ear incision area but it is bearable. As the weather got warmer, it is itchier and I feel more stuffy and uncomfortable, but I will do my best to bear with this period of discomfort.

2 weeks after the surgery: All my friends say they want to do it too.

 
Just by lifting saggy wrinkles and injecting fat to where there needs to be volume, my face got much smaller. Before, I used to think my face is big. But now that I look at it, that was not it. I think it was all wrinkles. Now all my friends say they want to do it too.

So I brought handful of business cards and brochures from the clinic to give away to my friends. As if I am promoting the hospital as an employee. That’s how much I am satisfied with the result.
 
 

1 month after the surgery: I laugh more often than before.

Now people tell me, unlike before, I look very like a modern city woman. So the way I dress is different and everyone tell me whatever I wear, I look more elegant. I feel good about this.

I thought after getting old, I would never be able to hear people say I am pretty. But now, I am hearing that I look pretty. My family members are also supportive and happy about the surgery result so I am very cheerful and happy. Before, there used to me many things that has been stressing my mind, but now, I hardly have things that stress my mind or makes me frown my face. Perhaps it is because I look more lively and young. Now I feel as though I can do anything with joy, and I laugh a lot more.

Brand new me! Brand new life!

Wherever I go after the surgery, nobody looks at me as my real age. Most take me younger than my actual age by 10 years. So, I am happy to go out and meet people.
Before the surgery, I was depressed because of my appearance, and didn’t want to go out of the house and didn’t want to do anything.

After hearing so many reviews about how much prettier I got, I exercise more, meet more people and laugh more.
